How to Enjoy Your Kinkawooka Cooked Mussels

Need a quick but nutritious meal for a lazy Friday night? Kinkawooka cooked mussels are your go-to. We cook our mussels in their natural juices and spring water within an hour of harvest to guarantee that every mussel in the bag is full, sweet and delicious.

What to expect

Our Kinkawooka mussels are fully cooked inside the packet so all you need to do is reheat these mussels and they are ready to serve.

Each packet holds 650g of mussels. As you open up a packet of your mussels, you will see there is quite a bit of water. The water is in there to keep your mussels in great condition. You can even use this water to flavour your sauce instead of adding some salt.

Our Kinkawooka cooked in bag mussels are really convenient. All you need to do is keep them in the fridge and use them at any time. All they will ever need is some reheating in your favourite sauce or soup.

Inside the packet

You can expect between 16 to 20 mussels in our cooked packets. In every packet, you may see a few mussels with hairline cracks in the shells. This is perfectly normal and they are all fine to eat.

You may also see some beards outside the mussels. Pull them off and they will detach easily.
